PayPal is asking me for a credit card but I don't have one
It is common that PayPal will ask you for a credit card to start your subscription.
As long as you have a bank account on file, this can be easily solved by following these steps;
Login to you PayPal account
Click Profile at the top
Under Financial Information click Recurring Payments
Then click Edit Funding Options at the bottom
You should be able to select your bank account or any other funding option, then click Save
What is a Non-Exclusive Beat or "Lease"?
Non Exclusive or "Lease" beats are beats where the producer is giving the buyer the right to use the beat, but the Producer owns the
rights to the beat. The Producer can sell a Non Exclusive beat multiple times as the producer retains the rights to the beat.
A standard "Lease" usually allows for 2000 copies of your song over the beat to be sold in either CD or download format, after which
the Lease needs to be renewed.
Leasing rights tend to vary from producer to producer, so it never hurts to contact the producer directly to inquire about leasing rights if
you are unsure about the exact rights granted with a purchased lease.
What am I allowed to do with the beat that I lease, what are the restrictions?
When you lease a beat from Spankass Productions you are allowed to:
- Use the beat on your album or demo
- Sell up to 5000 copies of your song in either CD or download format.
- Perform live at unlimited shows, contests or battles.
- Use the beat in your song video and stream it online an unlimited number of times.
- Use the beat in your song video and have it aired on TV - credit must be given to rightful producer.
Production credit must be given to the rightful producer either in text format or verbally within the song. Text format must be included in
all digital distribution meta data and printed material.
You may not transfer, resell, re-license or assign the beat license to another party without the producer's explicit permission.
What is an "Exclusive" Beat?
Exclusive Beats are beats that once they are sold, the buyer gains all rights to that beat and that buyer only. A producer can no longer
sell that beat and it is automatically removed from the Spankassproductions.com player/store , as the buyer owns the rights to the beat. a
"transfer of ownership" document is provided as well as the session files (tracked out .Wav files) are provided with Exclusive purchase.
Depending on the producer and or price of the exclusive purchase, exclusive purchase of a certain beat may just be an Mp3. We
encourage our producers to list such details about the availability of session files when selling beats exclusively on
Spankassproductions.com. It never hurts to contact a producer directly to make sure session files are available upon purchase of a
desired Exclusive Beat.
